Transactions volume at Uzbek commodity exchange for 5M2021 revealed

The volume of transactions at the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange in the first five months of this year increased by 56 percent, Trend reports with reference to the country's CERR (Center for Economic Research and Reforms).

According to the report of CERR, significant growth during the reporting period was observed in Bukhara (increase of 89.4 percent), Tashkent (77.1 percent), Namangan (63.3 percent) regions and in Tashkent (2.3 times). It is noted that the growth in volume was driven by trade in mineral fertilizers, cement and metals.

Also, CERR reported that the volume of tax revenues of Uzbekistan in the same period increased by 32.6 percent compared to the same period last year. At the same time, a significant increase in tax revenues was noted in Navoi (increase of 40.7 percent), Kashkadarya (40.6 percent), Syrdarya (32.2 percent), Khorezm (36.1 percent), Tashkent (31, 5 percent) regions and in Tashkent (38.3 percent).

In addition, according to the State Customs Committee, the volume of exports of goods since the beginning of the year has increased by 40.8 percent compared to the same period last year. The growth in the volume of export of goods was ensured in Jizzakh (two times), Andijan (82.4 percent), Syrdarya (80.8 percent), Bukhara (70.8 percent) and Tashkent (61.2 percent) regions.

During the analyzed period, 43,670 new business entities were created, the largest number of which was registered in Kashkadarya (5,368), Samarkand (3,885), Tashkent (3,742), Fergana (3,484) regions and Tashkent (7,592).
