Iran sees gains in overall index of Tehran Stock Exchange

TEHRAN, Iran, Aug. 30


The overall index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) gained 25,555 points to 1.575 million, on August 28, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.

Over 12.3 billion shares valued at $2.7 billion changed hands at TSE for the day. The value of exchanges in the first and second Market grew by 1.9 percent and 1.2 percent respectively.

Parsian Oil and Gas Development Company, Chadermelo Company, Isfahan Oil Refinery, SHASTA, Mobarakeh Steel Co., and Tehran Oil Refinery Company were among the companies with the most positive impact on RSE.

The indices of Pasargad Insurance Co., Gohar Zamin Iron Ore co. , Maroun Petrochemical Co., Zagros Petrochemical Co., Saba Tamin Company, and Dey Bank had the most positive impact on Farabourse.

Iran Fara Bourse (IFB) is an Exchange located in Tehran receiving its license from the ‎Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) in 2008. IFB is a market for financial ‎instruments including Equities, Sukuk, Certificate of Deposit (CD), Housing Mortgage ‎Right (HMR), Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), Exchange Traded Project Fund (ETPF), and ‎Intellectual Property (IP).‎
