The State Committee on Property Issues of Azerbaijan held another auction on property issues of the Ministry of Economy on Nov. 23, Trend reports referring to the ministry.

According to the ministry, auctions continue to accelerate the privatization process, which plays a special role in the development of the private sector of the economy.

"Of the privatized property, one was a small state-owned enterprise and 50 were vehicles. The buying process in the auctions made it even more competitive. Despite the fact that the starting price of 21 Tofas cars put up for auction in the form of one lot amounted to 37,900 manats ($22,300), the final auction price increased to 63,400 manats ($37,305) as a result of the tender," the ministry said.

It is noted that another competitive car was the 2007 Hyundai Sonata. At the auction, which was ordered by five people, the car was purchased for 10,300 manats ($6,060), despite the starting price of 7,000 manats ($4,118).

According to the information, the privatized small state-owned enterprise is the Real Estate Complex, located in the Shaki district. The total fertile area of ​​the property is 2,889 square meters and the land area is 91,750 square meters.

It is also noted that at the auction held on November 23.4 million manats ($13.8) from the privatized property will be transferred to the state budget.

As of November 30, 12 small state enterprises, two non-residential buildings, and one unfinished building were put up for auction.
