BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 6. The number of money transfers from Kazakhstan to Russia amounted to 25,200 transactions, for a total of 7.2 billion tenge ($15.5 million) in January 2022, Trend reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
According to Kazakh National Bank, the share of Russia in money transfers from Kazakhstan in the reporting period amounted to 25.1 percent.
The number of transactions from Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation decreased by 59 percent in January 2022 compared to December 2021 and by 52.3 percent in terms of amount.
At the same time, the number of transactions decreased by 40.4 percent and in terms of amount - by 44.4 percent, compared to January 2021.
The number of transactions in the framework of money transfers from Kazakhstan abroad amounted to 100,500 in the total sum of 45.6 billion tenge ($99.5 million dollars) in January 2022.
