Liabilities of Azerbaijan's Bank Respublika increase for 1Q2022

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Total liabilities of Azerbaijan’s Bank Respublika increased from January through March 2022, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.

According to the balance sheet, this figure amounted to over 1.1 billion manat ($650 million), up by 124.2 million manat ($73 million) or 12.09 percent on annual basis.

A significant share (73.38 percent) in the structure of liabilities accounted for deposits, which grew by 0.51 percent over the year - up to 774.8 million manat ($455.7 million). At the same time, the share of deposits of legal entities in the mentioned structure equaled 47.14 percent. The deposits amounted to 365.2 million manat ($214.8 million).

The share of deposits of individuals in the structure of liabilities of Bank Respublika made up 52.86 percent. These deposits increased by 26.08 percent over the year - up to 409.5 million manat ($240.8 million).

The share capital of Bank Respublika amounted to 73.4 million manat ($43.1 million) in the first quarter of 2022, remaining unchanged over the year.

Meanwhile, retained earnings of the bank exceeded 3.6 million manat ($2.1 million), which is 1.55 percent more than in 1Q2021. The bank’s capital reserves equaled 18.2 million manat ($10.7 million), thus having grown by 26.64 percent year on year.

The total capital of the bank in 1Q2022 amounted to 95.4 million manat ($56.1 million), up by 13.23 percent on annual basis.
