BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 2. The International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) took the first place in the ranking of local banks in terms of deposit portfolio volume for the first quarter of 2022, Trend reports.
According to the IBA’s financial report, its deposit portfolio for the reporting period amounted to 8.8 billion manat ($5.1 billion).
The second position in the ranking was taken by Pasha Bank with deposit portfolio of 5.6 billion manat ($3.3 billion).
Kapital Bank ranked third with deposit portfolio in the amount of 2.9 billion manat ($1.7 billion).
The total deposit portfolio of the first three banks in 1Q2022 amounted to 17.4 billion manat ($10.2 billion), which is 67.63 percent of the total deposit portfolio of all banks in Azerbaijan (25.7 billion manat or $15.1 billion).

The total deposit portfolio of the top ten banks amounted to 22.7 billion manat ($13.3 billion).
