BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 28. Total assets of Azerbaijani Gunay Bank increased by 17.8 percent in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports citing bank's balance sheet.
According to bank’s report, total assets of Gunay Bank increased by 46.2 million manat ($27.1 million) over the year - up to 305.6 million manat ($179.7 million).
The largest share (66.7 percent) in the structure of total assets was the loan portfolio, which grew by 3.6 percent (to 204.1 million manat or $120.05 million) over the year.
Targeted reserves deduction from bank's portfolio to ensure possible losses amounted to 20.06 million manat ($11.8 million).
According to the bank, about 19.5 percent of assets were cash and cash equivalents - 59.7 million manat ($35.1 million) in second quarter of 2022.
Unused real estate in the structure of Gunay Bank’s long-term assets amounted to 13.6 million manat ($8 million), intangible assets - to 121,780 manat ($71,635).
Bank’s other assets amounted to 42.7 million manat or $25.1 million in 2Q2022 (an increase of 10.5 percent over the year).
