Azerbaijan reveals volume of net financial assets

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 3. Azerbaijan's net financial assets amounted to 65.3 billion manat ($38.4 billion) as of September 1, 2022, Trend reports on November 3 via the conclusion of the Azerbaijani Chamber of Accounts on the draft state budget for next year.

According to the conclusion, in the structure of total financial assets, the main part fell on the assets of the State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) - 78.8 billion manat ($46.3 billion).

As of late August this year, the balance of the single treasury account stood at 809.3 million manat ($476 million), the funds of the single treasury account transferred for management - 2.6 billion manat ($1.5 billion), the debt payable by foreign states on obligations of contracts - 6.3 million manat ($3.7 million); obligations of state enterprises to the state budget for the current year - 10 million manat ($5.8 million).

The total internal and external public debt as of September 1, 2022 amounted to 16.9 billion manat ($9.9 billion).
