BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 8. The value of sales at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) amounted to approximately 23.4 trillion rials (about $78.7 million), from December 3 through December 7, 2022, Trend reports citing the IRENEX.
In total, about 129,000 tons of hydrocarbon products worth over 22.4 trillion rials (about $75.6 million) were sold at the Iran Energy Exchange within the mentioned period. Of this, 5.73 trillion rials (about $19.3 million) worth of products were sold on the domestic floor, while 16.7 trillion rials (about $56.3 million) worth – on the international floor.
Moreover, 6.2 million kilowatt-hours of electricity worth 4.39 billion rials (about $14,800) were sold at the IRENEX within the mentioned period.
At the same time, Standard Parallel Salaf (Islamic contract, similar to futures) documents worth 938 billion rials (about $3.15 million) were also sold at the energy exchange.
The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate.
The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is currently 311,870 rials, and the price of $1 is 296,897 rials.
