It is necessary to resolve the issue of climate finance and ways to ensure it at COP29, Mohammed Adov, director of the Climate Action Network, said at a press conference of the Climate Action Network in Baku within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Agreement on Climate Change (COP29), Trend reports.
“The impact of climate disasters in the world is growing. We are facing extreme weather events, which affects our coping mechanisms,” the Network's director said.
He mentioned that teamwork at COP29 regarding climate finance could tip the scales for the future of our planet.
To note, the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) opened today in Baku and will continue until November 22.
