Azerbaijan, Baku, 28 July / corr. Trend S.Babayeva / Specialists of the Azerbaijani Communication and Information Technology Ministry will participate in a meeting of the Region Communication Cooperation (RCC) on digital broadcasting, the Communication Ministry said on 28 July. People to participate in the meeting of the RCC will be publicized later.
The ninth meeting of the Coordination Group on Digital Broadcasting Planning (CGDBP) will take place in Kyrgyzstan from 28 to 29 August.
During the meeting it is planned to examine experiences and plans of introduction of DVB-Т/H national digital broadcasting standard in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, to study a recommendation project on coordination and modification of new planned frequency assignment or to assign digital broadcasting in 174-230MHz and 470-862MHz frequency zones, technical aspects to convert DVB-T frequency assignment into T-DAB frequency assignment in 174-230MHz radiofrequency zone in line with Geneva-2006 Agreement.
