Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 24/ Trend S. Babayeva/ In 2008 the Communication and IT Ministry of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) invested 1.9 million manat to communication, the Ministry said.
Communication incomes in NAR totaled 4.2 million manat that 920,000 manat more compared to 2007. The cost of communication services rendered in Autonomy exceeded 21 million manat.
NAR is situated in the west of Azerbaijan. It borders with Armenia in the north and the east, with Turkey and Iran in the west and south. Total area of NAR totals 5,500 square kilometers, population more 360,000. The capital of Autonomy is Nakhchivan.
