Azerbaijani users of Microsoft products can get necessary information from corporation's new website at www.microsoft.az.
The users of the website can download update software. Thus, a special page for downloading has been created to download Language Interface Pack (LIP), which provides users with installation of Windows XP, Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007 with Azerbaijani interface. Users can also read the glossary, which was compiled in the process of localization of this software.
"The website is maintained by the Microsoft representative office in Azerbaijan. The website includes information about company's activities in the country and abroad and new products and solutions are announced," Microsoft said.
Microsoft Azerbaijan Director General Teymur Akhundov said the official website in the Azerbaijani language will allow corporation to become even closer to the Azerbaijani users. "By launching a website, we had two objectives. First, the website in Azerbaijan provides all information about Microsoft Azerbaijan and secondly reports about company's novelties in Azerbaijani," Akhundov said.
Microsoft Azerbaijan (representative office in Azerbaijan) has operated since 2005. Its objective is to develop software market and promote corporation's products, to support partners and customers, as well as to localize corporation's advanced technology and implement social projects in Azerbaijan.
