Baku will host Innovation Day as a part of the Microsoft's global initiative again, the company said.
The forum to be held on June 19 will focus on exchange of views on impact of up-to-date information and communication technology on various areas of human activities.
The forum is organized by Microsoft representative office in Azerbaijan.
The forum will focus on importance of innovation for the development of information and communication technologies, different spheres of the economy, partnership with business in terms of introducing innovations, etc. Particular attention will be paid to the impact of piracy on innovation in the national economy.
The meeting will be attended by government representatives, heads of the leading Azerbaijani companies, as well as specialists in the field of information technology.
Azerbaijan hosted Innovation Day earlier in 2007-2008.
Company Microsoft Azerbaijan (representative office) was launched in 2005. The office aims to develop software market and promote products of corporation, support partners and customers, as well as localize advanced technology and implement social projects in Azerbaijan.
