The Azerbaijani Ministry of Health has implemented an electronic system of quality control of drugs, the Ministry spokesman Anar Gadirli told Trend.
He said the project is implemented in 24 pharmacies, where patients get free discounted drugs. Control over the quality of drugs is carried out by means of electronic cards.
The project was implemented jointly with the Turkish company Akgun Yazılım, dealing with software development in the field of medicine. At present, the database management system Akgun Yazılım has been implemented in the Clinical Medical Centre of the Ministry of Health. It connects nine corps of the center. Fiber-optic communication lines are used for data exchange (send and receive video content) in real time. The center has the electronic laboratory.
