The State Administration for Radio Frequencies of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and High Technologies is establishing a stationary device for the point of the Centralized automatic radio-monitoring network, located in the Sahil settlement (Garadagh district, Baku), the state administration told Trend.
The device will be commissioned and integrated with the control center of the Centralized automatic radio-monitoring network in autumn.
The creation of a centralized automated radio monitoring network will enhance control over the use of frequency resources and effectively fight against illegal usage of them. The project also envisages organizing of radio control over the air, the creation of an information base which reflects the technical parameters of broadcasting stations located in the country. The project implementation will provide the optimal choice of place and parameters of transmitters.
The supplier of the device is the American TCI International company.
At present, the total number of radio monitoring points in Azerbaijan are14 units, nine of which are located in the regions.
Stationary equipment is set out at the centralized automatic radio-monitoring network points in the Baku settlements of Mehdiabad and Yeni Guneshli.
The State Administration involved two units, one stationary and one mobile, at the end of 2013.
"Also, the construction of the Centralized automatic radio-monitoring network was completed by the state administration in Ganja and the issue of its technical equipment is being reviewed," the administration said.
