Barama Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center of country's leading mobile communication provider Azercell Telecom continues to implement interesting projects.

Thus, in October, 21 Barama Center has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Baku State University, one of the most respected educational institutions of the country. Azercell Telecom President Vahid Mursaliyev stated in the ceremony that this new cooperation will facilitate to conduct successful project between University students and Barama Center by supporting them in being closer to technological innovations with future successful business projects launch.

Mr. Mursaliyev noted that during 19 years of its operation, Azercell Telecom regularly supported educational development and capacity building in Azerbaijan, and successfully continues its activities in this regard. BSU President Abel Maharramov expressed his assuredness that this memorandum will give its benefits to education in Azerbaijan and students will take advantage from the international experience of Barama.

Founded in 2009 the Center supports local startup development in Azerbaijan and helps increasing IT literacy and entrepreneurship skills among the young. The Center cooperates with a number of global companies, organizations and NGOs in development of innovative environment in the market. We would like to remind that lately one of country's largest banks PASHA Bank has started cooperation with Azercell in the frames of Barama Center in order to support young entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan.

Continuously supporting the improvement of professional journalists during its operation, Azerbaijani leading mobile operator Azercell Telecom held a vocational training courses for students of the BSU faculty of journalism in May, 2014. The course was moderated by Dan Mason, a professional journalist from Great Britain.

Azercell cooperates closely with other Azerbaijani educational institutions, as well. It should be noted that Azercell Telecom continuously implements projects aimed for youth development.

Under the Student Bursary program of the company, capable youth studying at Azerbaijani universities get a great opportunity to receive special bursary from Azercell and take internship at various divisions of the company.

Azercell will continue to prioritize supporting the education and the youth in its activities.
