The sale of Samsung mobile devices increased by almost 9 percent in January-September 2017, the Global Stats statistical center said.
As of October 1, 2017, Samsung devices rank first on the Azerbaijani market of mobile devices with a 58.8 percent share.
A market share of Samsung devices increased by 11.6 percent in the country in January-September 2017 compared to the same period of 2016.
As of January-September 2017, the sale of Apple mobile devices decreased by 20 percent in Azerbaijan.
As of October 1, 2017, the share of Apple devices was 14.5 percent on the Azerbaijani market or by 24.5 percent less compared to the same period of 2016. Apple ranks second on the Azerbaijani market of mobile devices.
The mobile devices made by unknown manufacturers (mostly Chinese ones) rank third. A market share increased by 1.8 percent since early 2017.
By popularity Nokia ranks fourth among mobile devices in Azerbaijan. Thus, 3.38 percent accounts for Nokia’s share on the market. The Nokia device sales have declined by almost 43.5 percent since early 2017.
These manufacturers are followed by Huawei - 3 percent, Sony – 2.18 percent, LG - 2.94 percent, HTC - 2.44 percent, Lenovo – 2.77 percent, Alcatel – 1.5 percent.
