The Center for study and development of cryptocurrency market and blockchain technology of Azerbaijan claims to become a leading platform in the region, uniting the essential players of the cryptocurrency market and blockchain technology, the Center told Trend.
The long-term plans of the Center include promoting its own platform, which is designed to give impetus to the development of this segment in the country, the source said.
"We intend to come up with our own platform, to address with specific recommendations and proposals on legal regulation to such government agencies as the Ministry of Taxes and the Ministry of Finance, and we will continue to work with industry experts to make our structure an example for other countries. The blockchain and cryptocurrency sphere is very extensive, and our goal is to bring new technologies in this field into the country. It is about creating smart contracts, conducting ICO, issuing tokens, etc.," the source said.
The long-term plans of the Center include an extensive presentation to the companies of the work at the design stage and the projects having been put into practice.
"Blockchain can be used in almost all industries. We will start with consulting services, ICO and token creation. Recently, we began to cooperate with the Waves blockchain platform. In the near future, we will hold talks on cooperation with its executive staff. With the support of Waves, we will regularly hold events on the topic of cryptocurrencies and blockchain," the Center said.
The Center for study and development of cryptocurrency market and blockchain technology was established on April 5, 2018 with the participation of interested parties. The founders of the organization are the President of the Azerbaijani Internet Forum Osman Gunduz, the Director of the Portmanat company (payment system) Telman Akhundov, the Head of the Fund of Assistance to Development of Entrepreneurship and Market Economy Sabit Bagirov, the Director of CryptoAZE Company Orhan Ahmedov and Founder of the Crypto Consulting company Elnur Guliyev.
