A new electronic trading platform Osonol.uz has appeared in Uzbekistan, which allows making online purchases with the option to deliver the purchased goods, the press service of the company stated.
The company positions this service as an alternative to Amazon and AliExpress, and notes that the site is currently operating in a test mode, but consumers are already free to make purchases and order products with delivery.
"We have set a goal to offer in Uzbekistan the same convenient and high-quality service for online shopping as Amazon or AliExpress, but without the difficulties that our customers face when shopping abroad. Here you can find the right product, read its detailed description, compare prices from different sellers and buy it online in just a few minutes. The purchase can be received directly in the hands in a few hours," the message said.
At the moment, the online store offers a variety of products from household appliances and gadgets to cosmetics and hygiene products.
Among the advantages of Osonol, the authors of the project noted the 24/7 work mode, the availability of a courier service that allows delivery throughout Uzbekistan and seasonal discounts on goods in the amount of 5 to 15 percent.
Recently, Uzbekistan has taken a number of measures to change customs procedures to open the country's market for such international players as Amazon and AliExpress.
On the other hand, a number of restrictions were introduced on the purchase of goods from abroad, which, however, according to experts, will not affect online purchases.
