Azerbaijani start-ups to co-op with Dubai's largest acceleration center (PHOTO)

High-Tech Park LLC of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Astrolabs, the largest acceleration center in Dubai, the ministry said in a message on Oct. 29.
The memorandum was signed as part of the Innovation Week held in Baku.
The collaboration will allow local start-ups to work directly in the Astrolabs acceleration center.
The memorandum envisages joint events, as well as work aimed at organizing meetings of start-ups operating in Azerbaijan with investors in Dubai and entering new markets. In addition, within the memorandum, the High Technologies Park will expand international contacts and will be able to cooperate with new international acceleration programs.
AstroLabs Academy provides specialized courses in digital business, including digital marketing, coding, analytics, big data, UX design and business development. The center regularly conducts open classes available to the public and also develops and provides customized training plans for corporate clients and accelerators throughout the region.
