Azerbaijan’s KATV-1 telecommunication company is ready to deploy a cable TV and broadband internet network in the liberated territories, KATV-1 Marketing Director Ali Aliyev told Trend.
According to Aliyev, AG Telecom has expressed its readiness to deploy cable TV and broadband internet under the KATV1 brand in the liberated territories.
The network can be deployed within the restoration of infrastructure in Azerbaijani districts based on the state development strategy, the marketing director said.
Azerbaijan's victory in the war for the liberation of the territories occupied by Armenia has created new challenges for Azerbaijani business and AG Telecom is ready to participate in the restoration of this region, he said.
Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan has entered a new era of development and the districts liberated from occupation will become the most important territories of the country's vector movement in the 21st century, where innovations are factors of undeniable success.
The victorious war showed that the future belongs to innovations and Azerbaijan is confidently moving towards this future, he stressed.
Aliyev also expressed the company's readiness to create a regional TV channel and radio station as socially important initiatives to expand the national information space.
KATV1 provides its subscribers with unlimited access to the Internet with the ability to connect at a speed of 100 megabytes per second over fiber-optic networks.
The "optics" offered by KATV1 does not depend on the quality of the telephone line, since users are connected to a special infrastructure consisting of high-quality cables. In addition, the upload speed is several times higher, which is very important for video communication, sending files.
