By Sadraddin Aghjayev - Trend:
Experts of the Turkish ‘Boghazichi Ventures’ venture fund will hold online meetings with heads of start-up projects in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Innovation Agency told Trend.
Starting next week, online meetings are planned to be held in line with the established schedule.
The agency noted that out of 51 registered start-up projects, only 13 projects correspond to categories A and B, that is, they have the potential for further development.
Moreover, four out of 13 startups passed the appropriate checks and moved to the last stage, which implies the greatest likelihood of financing and entering international markets, the agency noted.
The ‘Boghazichi Ventures’ venture fund plans to ensure the acceleration of startups and their entry into foreign markets by the end of 2021, as well as increase the export of Azerbaijan's technologies.
The venture fund initially allocated $5 million to finance Azerbaijani startups.
