Jerard Gajewski, the secretary general of Central and Eastern European Networking Association (CEENA), is expected to pay a visit to Azerbaijan. The main goal of the visit is to participate at the international scientific-practical conference Electronic Nakchivan 2: Role and importance of information-communicational technologies in development of science and education that will be held 24-25 June,Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan.
The conference is expected to be attended by the delegation of the Turkish universities Kars and Kodjaeli, heads of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, Ministry of Education, Information Technologies Institute of the Academy of Sciences, Lankaran State University, Baku State University, State Economic University and IT companies.
Organized by Nakchivan State University in cooperation with the Information Technologies Ministry, the conference will focus on the development of information-communicational technologies in Nakchivan Autonomous Republic, as well as application of ICT in different spheres of republic and other issues touching on the development on information society in Nakchivan.
