The Director General of Azercell Telecom, Halim Ates said that the Company does not intend to change the strategy after the privatization of the state share in the Company.
According to him, the final decision on the privatization of Azercell should be made by the Government.
Several times earlier, we had submitted all necessary documents to the relevant state bodies, and we wait for response, Mr. Ates said.
The share of Azerbaijan in the Company in the person of the Ministry of Communications and
Information Technologies equals 35,7%. Azercell Telecom created by Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan began its activities in December 1996.
