Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / The State Enterprise Azerpocht of the Telecommunications and Information Technology Ministry of Azerbaijan, a South Caucasus country, is to announce the main tender within the joint project with the World Bank.
The $17.5 mln project Development of Finance services, is aimed at modernization of Azerbaijani postal net.
$12,25 mln credits will be allocated by the World Bank and the rest by the Azerbaijani Telecommunications and Information Technology Ministry and the Azerbaijani National Bank
The tender on the preparation of the program of securing on accounting will be announced by the end of June.
The finance services of the State Enterprise will be rendered on the base of this structure.
By the end of the year, 4 or 5 tenders will be held within the project.
As a pilot project the financial services initially will be introduced in Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron peninsula by the end of the current year.
