Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Babayeva / On 13 July, the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan, Ali Abbasov, met with the delegation of Cisco Systems Company, the Communications Ministry informs. The delegation expressed its wish to invest in the IT sphere of Azerbaijan. The parties highlighted the significance of the meeting between Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev and President and also Executive Director of Cisco Systems, John Chambers, from the point of view of expansion between Azerbaijan and the US, Cisco's home-base.
In addition, the meeting covered the possibility to establish Cisco NGN (Next Generation Network) in Azerbaijan and the realization of joint projects on E-Government.
