Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Azerbaijan's leading mobile operator Azercell Telecom JV launched its first ever MobilMail service in Azerbaijan for its subscribers, the Company reports.
The Azercell subscribers are now able to receive and send emails using their personal email accounts via mobile phones. The service enables the subscribers to check their email accounts, receive and send letters via mobile phones at any time without the use of a PC. One of the privilleges of this service is the possibility of copying contact details (phone numbers, address and etc.) and calendar from the email account of the subscriber to the mobile phone. The service will be in use via GPRS. A subscriber should refer to the Azercell Customer Care office in order to activate this MobilMail service.
MobilMail has two different versions depending on the user segments. They are MobilMail Korporativ (Enterprise edition) for the corporative segment and Azercell MobilMail (Internet edition) for all subscibers. Encouraging its subscribers to keep up with modern technology, Azercell offering different discount tariff packages to ensure that all its customers are utilizing the new service and to suit their preferences. For example, the postpaid subscribers using MobilMail service will pay AZN 0, 70 each for 1Mb without any monthly payment for GPRS/EDGE. The prepaid subscribers are to pay 1 unit per every 5 KB.
