BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 8. Azerbaijan Tourism Association (AzTA) plans to open representative offices in 21 countries, Chairman of the Board at AzTA Ahmad Gurbanov told Trend.
According to him, AzTA tourist offices are already functioning in some regions of Azerbaijan.
"We plan to open them stage by stage in all regions of Azerbaijan. The purpose of the offices in the regions is to better research their tourist potential and create new opportunities for the development of domestic tourism," Gurbanov said.
He added that the opening of AzTA offices abroad is aimed at promoting the country, attracting more tourists to Azerbaijan.
