Uzbek company SamAuto launches sale of new pickups

The sale of first ISUZU D-Max pickup trucks produced in Uzbekistan has been launched, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.

In November 2019, SamAuto company presented ISUZU D-Max pickups and announced the opening of pre-order. Cars are available in three modifications and seven colors, and prices range from 270 ($28,200) to 380 million soums ($39,700).

In the period from 20 to 24 January this year, the SamAuto plant has shipped new cars for the first time. The first batch included nine pickup trucks.

For citizens of Uzbekistan, Isuzu D-Max is available in three versions:

-D-MAX SAHAR with a single-row cabin, two passenger seats, a 2.5 engine, manual transmission;

-D-MAX OKSUS with a two-row cabin, four passenger seats, a 2.5 engine, manual transmission;

-D-MAX IRBIS with a double-row cabin, for passenger seats, a 3.0 engine, automatic transmission.

The capacity of the mentioned pick-ups ranges between 865–1100 kg.

The pickups are sold in Uzbekistan by eight dealer centers located in Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Urgench.
