Air India will start operating regular flights to Uzbekistan on the Delhi-Tashkent-Delhi route, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.
Thus, on the basis of an agreement on air communications between the governments of Uzbekistan and India, on June 25, the Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan (Uzaviation) agency issued an operational permit No. 11-K to Air India.
In accordance with this permission, Air India will begin operating regular flights to Uzbekistan on the Delhi - Tashkent - Delhi route.
It is noted that the airline will operate flights on Airbus 320-214 and Airbus 320-251 N aircraft.
In May, it was reported that Uzaviation issued Turkish MNG Airlines with operational permit No. 98-K dated May 26, 2021, for performing regular cargo flights to Uzbekistan on the Istanbul-Navoi-Istanbul route. It was noted that the airline will transport goods on Airbus 300-600, Airbus 330-200, and Airbus 330-300 aircraft.
Also, in April, Uzaviation issued a permit to Turkish Airlines to operate regular flights in the direction of Istanbul - Urgench - Istanbul and Istanbul - Fergana - Istanbul.
