PMO eyes decline in load/unload operations at Iran's Dayyer port

The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Dayyer port of the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) decreased by 36 percent in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 23 through December 21, 2021), compared to the 8th month (October 23 through November 21, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, over 23,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port in the ninth month, of which, about 17,000 tons were loaded and over 6,000 tons were unloaded.

“So, about 16,500 tons of cargo were exported through the Dayyer port within the 9th month,” the statistics said.

At the same time, 381 tons of cargo were loaded and over 6,000 tons were unloaded in the port for other purposes.

In general, 81 tons of small and assorted goods and about 23,000 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in Iran’s Dayyer port in the 9th month of the current Iranian year.

About 11.9 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the ninth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.28 million tons were loaded and 5.64 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 8.8 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
