BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21. The number of passengers transported through Iranian airports domestically increased by 24 percent, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
According to the statistics, more than 28 million passengers were transported through Iranian airports within last Iranian year.
Meanwhile, in the preceding Iranian year, the figure stood at over 22.5 million.
