BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23. International cargo transportation through Iranian airports increased by 128 percent, in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2022), compared to the same month last Iranian year, as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
According to the statistics, over 4,100 tons of cargo were transported internationally through Iranian airports in the first month.
Meanwhile, in the same month of last Iranian year, the figure stood at over 1,800 tons.
