Kazakh President to visit Malaysia and Indonesia

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will visit Malaysia and Indonesia in mid-April, Kazakh Foreign Ministry's spokesman Altai Abibullayev said at the briefing in Astana on Wednesday, Kazinform reported.

Within the visit to Malaysia on April 17-18, Nazarbayev will hold the talks with the Supreme Ruler of Malaysia and Prime Minister of this country. Moreover, he will meet with Malaysian business elite.

"The parties will exchange the views on key issues of bilateral cooperation and current international problems within the visit," Abibullayev said.

The first official visit of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Indonesia will be held on April 12-15.

"Nazarbayev plans to hold the negotiations with the Indonesian President, the Parliament's Head and the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, business and social circles of this country," Abibullayev said.

Within the meetings, the current state and prospects of the Kazakh-Indonesian relations will be discussed, including a wide range of regional and international issues of mutual interest. Moreover, the parties will discuss the priorities of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The business forums will be held to give impetus to trade and economic cooperation of two countries.
