The 11th Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) will begin in Dushanbe, a correspondent of Trend reported from the capital of Tajikistan.
"The meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs in the framework of the "Asia Cooperation Dialogue "shows the growing international prestige of Tajikistan," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrisov told journalists before the event.
According to him, Kazakhstan will support interaction with Tajikistan in all fields including political, cultural and humanitarian and regional security issues.
"During my meeting with the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, we noted that Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are important regional partners. We share common views on the future of the Central Asian region," the minister said.
Speechs of the president of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Hamrokhon Zarifi, and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand (Resident Coordinator) and Kuwait (previous chairman) are scheduled during the meeting.
