BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 13. Kazakhstan's population enjoys one of the lowest gasoline prices, with a liter of gasoline costing around 211.72 Kazakh tenge ($0.45), Trend reports, citing the latest study by Global Petrol Prices (GPP).
Kazakhstan holds tenth position in the newest ranking.
The cheapest gasoline is in Venezuela, with a price of a liter of fuel costing around $0.01. Libya and Iran come as a close second and third. Retail price of one liter will cost $0.03 and $0.05 respectively.
On the other end of the spectrum, the most expensive gasoline prices are recorded in Hong Kong, with a cost of $2.96. The Central African Republic population has to pay $2.4 for a liter, while fuel prices in Iceland roam around $2.25 level.
On average, a liter of gasoline will cost $1.30 on a global level.
