BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 13. Kazakhstan’s passport ranks 56-th among 199 countries and territories, Canadian Arton Capital consulting firm revealed in its recent rating, Trend reports, citing the company.
Kazakh passport holders may enjoy visa-free travel to 38 destinations, in other 50 countries citizens of Kazakhstan will be issued a visa on arrival, while visa must be obtained in advance to travel to 110 states.
The strongest passport in the world is issued by the United Arab Emirates. Citizens of UAE travel restriction free to 121 states; in 59 states they will receive a visa on arrival. Only 18 states require applying for a visa before reaching the destination.
The next positions are held mostly by European countries, including Finland, Luxembourg, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and South Korea.
In contrast, the holders of the weakest passports represent Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan.
