BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 6. Kazakhstan will allocate 3.5 billion Kazakh tenge ($7.4 million) for Aktobe region in 2023, as part of the state project on rural development of regions, Trend reports, citing the Central Communications Service under the President.

In order to scale up the first stage, it was decided to increase the number of rural districts that will be eligible for the project. The government plans to implement 2,772 projects in 24 rural areas and 12 districts in the framework of the first stage of the project.

The maximum amount of a preferential loan is 8.6 million Kazakh tenge ($18,340), while the maximum loan for the development of cooperation amounts to 27.6 million Kazakh tenge ($58,800).

The project aims at developing poultry farming, crop production, developing small and medium-sized businesses of the agricultural sector.

These measures are expected to improve the living conditions of local residents, as well as strengthen the agricultural sector of the country.
