BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. Kazakhstan has already opened a trading house in Afghanistan and appointed a representative there, Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin said, Trend reports via the Kazakh media.

According to him, the trade cooperation between Kazakhstan and Afghanistan is reaching $1 billion, which is more than that with Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.

"And we will increase this trade cooperation. We have real prospects to supply even more wheat, flour, and sunflower oil there. Why should we give up this opportunity?" he said.

As the Kazakh PM noted, the country will only benefit from this cooperation.

"We have already opened a trading house and appointed a representative there. He will coordinate all this work because Afghanistan is large and diverse. It is necessary to study the market and get acquainted with local businessmen," the PM said.
