ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 18. Kazakhstan's KazTransOil national company transported a total of 21.3 million tons of oil through the main oil pipeline system from January through June 2023, Trend reports.
According to the company, the volume of oil transported in the reporting period increased by 1.3 million year-on-year.
The volume of oil transported to the oil refineries of Kazakhstan through the main oil pipeline system of KazTransOil decreased by 214,000 tons compared to the same period in 2022, amounting to 8.8 million tons.
Specifically, Atyrau Refinery received 2.8 million tons of oil, while PetroKazakhstan Oil Products - 2.7 million tons of oil, Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant - 2.77 million tons of oil, and SP Caspi Bitum - 415,000 tons of oil.
The volume of oil transported through the Atyrau-Samara section of the Uzen-Atyrau-Samara main oil pipeline in the reporting period of 2023 amounted almost 5 million tons, which is an increase of 713,000 tons, compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the operations of the oil pumping stations of KazTransOil in the Atyrau and Mangistau regions, which were temporarily halted due to a power outage, have been fully restored.
