ASTANA, Kazakhstan, September 29. The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has met with a board member of the Euler Hermes agency, Edna Schöne in Berlin, Trend reports.
During the meeting, prospects for further strengthening and deepening economic cooperation were discussed, including the development of joint projects, the exchange of experience, and the organization of training programs in the field of financial insurance.
Tokayev noted that Euler Hermes is a valuable partner for Kazakhstan. The company is a global leader in credit insurance and part of the Allianz Group, the world's largest provider of comprehensive financial solutions.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed of the signing of a financial cooperation agreement between the Development Bank of Kazakhstan and Bank Helaba to finance the construction of a chemical plant for the production of sodium cyanide by AltynAlmas Reagents in the amount of up to 100 million euros.
Euler Hermes is an insurance company that is the world's largest company, specializing in export credit insurance. The majority of the shares are owned by the French insurer Allianz France, which in turn belongs to the largest German insurer, Allianz SE.
