ASTANA, Kazakhstan, December 29. The volume of oil and gas condensate production in Kazakhstan amounted to 254,400 tons on December 28, 2023, Trend reports.
Gas production during the preceding period was 179.2 million cubic meters, according to official figures.
On December 28, oil refineries in Kazakhstan processed 49,300 tons of oil at the same time.
Meanwhile, in 2022, gas output totaled 53.3 billion cubic meters, or 103.1 percent of the targeted volume. Commercial gas output totaled 27.8 billion cubic meters, or 94 percent of the expected total.
Domestic commercial gas consumption in Kazakhstan was 19.3 billion cubic meters, or 107.2 percent of the 2022 plan, while exports were 4.6 billion cubic meters, or 85.1 percent of the plan.
The volume of liquefied petroleum gas production (provided to the domestic market) was 2.8 million tons, or 98 percent of the planned volume.
At the same time, the volume of oil production in Kazakhstan in 2022 amounted to 84.2 million tons, or 101.6 percent of the planned figure. Oil exports in 2022 reached 64.3 million tons, or 103.4 percent of the plan.
Kazakhstan also plans to produce 90.5 million tons of oil in 2023, of which 71 million are planned to be exported.
