ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 19. German Flight Design GmbH intends to produce ultralight aircraft in Almaty, Kazakhstan, said the company's CEO Daniel Günther, Trend reports.
He made the remark during a press conference with KAZAKH INVEST (Kazakhstan's national company) as part of the 30th general aviation exhibition at AERO Friedrichshafen.
"Flight Design plans to launch production of ultralight CT series aircraft in Kazakhstan. The aircraft production project will be implemented with the Virage group of companies on the territory of the free economic zone in Almaty," he said.
According to him, to implement the project, the parties will create a joint venture, Flight Design Kazakhstan. Aircraft produced in Kazakhstan will be sold on local and foreign markets.
In turn, the official representative of KAZAKH INVEST in Germany Saken Olzhabayev provided conference participants with information about instruments for protecting the rights of investors, preferences and other measures to support foreign companies in Kazakhstan.
