A bilateral working meeting of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Kursan Asanov with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Kyrgyz Republic Ha Tae-yeok took place in Bishkek, Trend reports referring to kabar.kg.

The first secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Kyrgyz Republic Kim Hyung Jun also attended the meeting, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

During the meeting, a number of issues were discussed regarding further strengthening of cooperation and interaction in the fight against crime, ensuring public safety, and issue of ensuring the safety of citizens of the Republic of Korea in Kyrgyzstan were considered.

During the meeting, Asanov noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic is interested in a deeper study of the positive experience of the police of the Republic of Korea.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Deputy Interior Minister expressed confidence that the friendly relations that had existed for many years would serve to strengthen and develop bilateral cooperation.

The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere, and in the spirit of mutual understanding.
