BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 4. Kyrgyzstan plans to start a project for the construction of the Bishkek-Belogorka-Suusamyr highway, said Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobayev, Trend reports via Cabinet of Ministers.

"The length of the road route will be 120 kilometers long, which will shorten the Bishkek-Jalal-Abad route by 150 kilometers", Torobayev said.

He also noted the importance of the Bishkek-Belogorka-Suusamyr highway for Kyrgyzstan's transport system. This road is going to be built according to the modern methods of construction, which will improve road users' safety.

The project will be carried out as part of a public-private partnership, with a fair amount of competition among potential investors.
