BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11. Kyrgyzstan will supply a big batch of honey to Japan in the near future, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Ministry, the contract on shipment of 400 tons of honey from Kyrgyzstan was signed between Japan style and Yamada Bee Company Group with the participation of Sojitz trading company on August 10.
Under the agreements of the companies, Japan will get the above-mentioned amount of honey in several stages. The first container of 20 tons will be shipped from Kyrgyzstan soon.
Meanwhile, the volume of Kyrgyzstan's honey exports to Japan in 2021 amounted to 43,4 tons, which is almost 2.8 times more compared to 2020 (15.7 tons of honey).
