BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, July 12. The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) has signed a credit agreement worth $256,000 with Kyrgyzstan’s Aiko Seiko Company, which specializes in workwear production, for the construction of a garment factory in the village of Kara-Oi, located in the Talas region of Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports.

As per the agreement, the RKDF will provide a preferential loan to support the project, which is already underway. The factory is expected to commence operations in three months, with an annual production capacity of 20,000 units of specialized clothing.

The garments manufactured at the factory will be designed for workers in the energy, mining, and oil and gas industries. This initiative aims to address the demand for high-quality workwear in these sectors.

Kuban Zhusuev, CEO of Aiko Seiko, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with the RKDF, highlighting that this is their second joint project with the fund.

"Our previous experience of cooperation with the fund has been very successful. We believe that in the future, we will be able to open similar production facilities in other regions," Zhusuev said.

The goal of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund is to support economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, as well as modernize and develop the Kyrgyz economy. The fund acts as the main tool for Kyrgyzstan’s integration into the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
