BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 4. The total amount of transactions at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $26.7 million last week, Trend reports via “Business Turkmenistan” news agency.

Entrepreneurs from the UAE, Germany, Malta, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan purchased gasoline, paraffin, liquefied gas and polypropylene produced by the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR) and representatives of business communities from Turkey, Afghanistan and Hong Kong - liquefied gas, gasoline and pyrolysis residue were purchased.

Businessmen from Turkey purchased cotton yarn for 11.6 million Turkmen manats ($3.3 million).

Entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan for the local market purchased packaging film (manufactured by TCOR) and handmade carpets for a total amount of about 25 million Turkmen manat ($7.1 million).

A total of 45 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
