BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 15. The total amount of transactions at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $3.2 million last week, Trend reports via “Business Turkmenistan” news agency.
Businessmen from Tajikistan purchased urea, and entrepreneurs from Türkiye, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan purchased various types of cotton yarn, smooth-dyed and jacquard terry products, as well as mineral fertilizers on the exchange.
Entrepreneurs from the UAE purchased cotton yarn in the amount of 2.9 million Turkmen manats ($827,700).
Businessmen from Turkmenistan purchased high-density polyethylene for the domestic market in exchange for a total amount of more than 1.4 million Turkmen manats ($400,000).
A total of 9 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
